Ultraleichtes Angeln beim Spinnfischen. Teil 3. Optimale Bedingungen und Objekte des Fangens

The peculiarity of using ultralight tackle

Image 1 : Ultralight spinning fishing. Part 3. Optimal conditions and objects of fishing

As I wrote earlier, a notable feature of ultralight fishing is that you can catch predatory and non-predatory fish in any body of water where this very fish is present. This is the main difference between ultralight spinning from the classic.

After all, we will not catch bleak or crucian crucian carp on large wobblers or heavy blades, which often exceed the size of the fish itself. Of course, the objects of UL fishing can not boast large sizes, and if a big fish and bite, the chance to get it to the shore is minimal. But in order to practice to achieve nibbles of different fish, you need to understand the features of its behavior and habitat conditions, then the diversity of the catch can only be envied.

Types of water bodies and the search for promising places

The water bodies on which we fish are characterized by different characteristics. Based on which we start searching for a promising place. Of course, we consider only shore fishing, as this is the main direction of UL spinning. Conditionally, reservoirs can be divided into several main types:

Image 2 : Ultralight spinning fishing. Part 3. Optimal conditions and objects of fishing

  • large and medium-sized rivers;
  • small and forest rivers;
  • large lakes and reservoirs;
  • small lakes;
  • mountain rivers and streams;
  • sea fishing (rockfishing).

Of course, fishing on each type of water body is worthy of a separate article and not even one, but the basic theses, which should be based on, I will outline.

Ultralight fishing on big rivers

Image 3 : Ultralight spinning fishing. Part 3. Optimal conditions and objects of fishing

Large and medium-sized rivers are the most remarkable reservoirs for fishing not only on ultralight tackle, but also for fishing in principle. They have a wide variety of places, depths, powerful streams of current on the rolls and virtually no current in all sorts of backwaters and bays. The species composition of fish is also represented very widely, which is especially interesting when using UL tackle.

On the rolls you can successfully catch chub, yazya, pikeperch, perch, chehon. In such cases, krenki are used.

Under overgrown and choked banks hide pike. In the backwaters, bays and just in places with slow currents, fans of micro-rogging and mormyshing will find their fishing.

Searching for fish on small and forest rivers

Fishing on such reservoirs is mainly carried out with the use of light or ultralight tackle. The UL option is preferable, as it allows you to collect more diverse fish and use a greater number of baits.

Despite the fact that in such places often the width of the river is less than the maximum throwing distance, a great help will be the presence of weiders or zabrodnyy overalls, as the vegetation does not always allow you to make a coastal wiring and pull chub from under the overhanging bush, and sometimes there is a need to move to the other side.

Especially interesting are such rivers located at a decent distance from roads and settlements deep in the forest. In such places in central Russia I managed to catch small grayling and trout. Though the size did not exceed the palm of my hand, but the fact of catching such fish is very entertaining and remains in my memory for a long time.

The main objects of catching in such rivers are predators – chub, pike perch. But also often falls roach, mayflies and bleak.

Large lakes and reservoirs

Image 2 : Ultralight spinning fishing. Part 3. Optimal conditions and objects of fishing

Fishing on large lakes and reservoirs is not much different from fishing on large rivers. Also mottled with diversity of coastline and bottom terrain, depths from very small to dozens of meters, species composition of fish is diverse. The main difference is a pronounced weak current or its absence, which must be taken into account when searching for fish. On such reservoirs there are difficulties in finding fish in the coastal zone, and ultralight fishing is just coastal, in such cases a great help will be the presence near the place of catching the mouth of even a small river, where it is much easier to find your catch.

Ultralight fishing on small lakes and ponds

The main fishing on such reservoirs is catching striped robbers on microjigs. Perch can inhabit as ubiquitously, throughout the water area, and locally stand in flocks at lonely snags, on the relief or coquina. Pike is also present. Not the target object of catching for fans of ultralight, but when it bites, you have to catch. Also do not forget about non-predatory fish. Carp and roat can also not miss the bait with the right feed. The target method of catching such fish best brings results when using light mormyshki with the planting of small silicone.

Mountain rivers and streams

Image 4 : Ultralight spinning fishing. Part 3. Optimal conditions and objects of fishing

Very interesting, but most often laborious fishing in physical terms. There are mountain rivers where you can go with your feet. In a large number of places you can get only on a multi-day rafting, and sometimes also with overcoming rapids of varying complexity. The main objects of fishing on such rivers are trout and grayling, baits – tacks and crankbaits. Fish on such rivers most often stands in the pools after the rapids or shivers. It can stand both on a calm stretch of water and on the residual stream. Trout can be found in the stream itself.

Fishing in mountain streams is hunting for brook trout. In such places you have to walk a lot, and often you have to wade through the coastal bushes. But you need to do it carefully, because the fish is very timid and if you move too loudly, then regardless of skill and equipment, you can be left without a catch. Trout can be found both in pools and on the stream itself under any stone. In the marshes show themselves well microvertushki, on the stream sinking crankbaits and sheads.

Sea fishing (Rockfishing)

We are talking about coastal fishing. Such fishing is beautiful with a variety of catching objects and applied tackle. Fish can be found almost anywhere along the coast, the main thing is to correctly apply the appropriate bait. It can be and crankbaits, and various variations of microjigs, and spoons (mainly pilkers). Since the seabed is mottled with all sorts of pebbles and other elements of relief, it is recommended to use at least a leash of flurocarbon, so as not to tear the cord.

Common features and differences of reservoirs

Image 2 : Ultralight spinning fishing. Part 3. Optimal conditions and objects of fishing

For the most part, the behavior of a single fish species coincides on different types of reservoirs. This applies to the diet, habitats, other fishing conditions. But it is also not uncommon when the behavior and habits of the same fish are different even on a separate body of water. Sometimes it is possible to build a logical chain and find an explanation for this, and sometimes it can not be assessed in any way.

Probably, this is one of those moments that so tie a person to fishing. After all, if everything was simple, clear and understandable, fishing would not be so hooked.

This is a general, even overview material. In each section of this article can go much deeper and for each find information on a dozen articles.
