Catching on a mormyshka. Part two. Choosing a place. Tactics and fishing techniques

In the first part of the article we talked about preparing for a fishing trip, i.e. choosing both gear and equipment. Now let’s talk about the fishing process itself.

I. Prospective place.

The next step – go around each point and make a few leads. If there is a fish, it usually responds with the first wires. Do not stay in place for a long time, no reaction to the bait – go to another hole. Mark those places where there were nibbles. Around them you can drill a few more holes.

3. Choice of bait.

It is good to experiment with bait when a promising hole is found. Passive fish, as a rule, reacts well to moths, active fish will be tempted by ordinary breadcrumbs.

If you are aiming at bream, fresh, live moth is preferable. For roach will do – frozen feed or breadcrumbs.

II. Technique of fishing for bait mormyshki.

Each fisherman has his own individual technique, like any skill, is gradually formed with experience. Much depends on the conditions, the mood of the underwater inhabitants, the time of year and the model of the mormyshka. There are no universal schemes. Let’s highlight a few general principles.

1. Time of the year and the activity of animation/play.

5. In the process of fishing.
