Ponton21 eigenschap
Perhaps, my most popular troller for fishing on the river with a moderate current. Trait due to the narrow petal type “willow leaf” is perfect for catching fish on the current of different strength. Trait load is light enough, so it is convenient to fish small depths: rapids, sandbars and shoals with current. It is desirable to fish with it against the current, as due to the small area of the petal and small angle of rotation, it does not work downstream. Pontoon21 Trait in size #00 and #0 is a favorite of grayling, as well as perch.
Mepps Aglia en Aglia Mouche
Aglia is one of those blades that needs no introduction and is in the top of the best spinning rods for many spinning anglers, as it is very popular and has become a household name without exaggeration. Blades are identical, the only difference is the absence of a colorful fly in Aglia without the prefix Mouche (fly). The petal rotates at an angle of 60 degrees to the axis, so the Aglia is originally designed for fishing in standing water, however, and on a weak current can be successfully catching the bling. It does not always start up quickly, so short pulls with the tip of the spinning rod sometimes should not be forgotten. Mepps Aglia and Aglia Mouche of the first number – a favorite in the search for small river bass.
Ponton21 Synchronie
One of my first Pontoon21 trollers in the first issue, which overnight became the leader among the lures of this type. The petal is very versatile in the sense that Synchrony is suitable for fishing in both standing water and current. The load is one-piece, weighted, so it is more suitable for fishing in slightly deeper parts of rivers, such as pits, pools and backwaters. Like Pontoon21, Synchrony is equipped with a sharp tee with a fly, so the realization of nibbles is one of the strong points of this company’s trollers. As for Synchrony directly, it perfectly catches any predator on small rivers: perch, grayling and yazya.
Lucky John Excentric In-Line
The distinctive feature of this troll is the petal, which rotates directly on the rod, hence the angle of rotation of the petal is small, so the Excentric In-Line is a troll exclusively for the current. By the way, the current can be any, the twister rotates well on a strong stream, as well as on a weak, because the petal of the bling very quickly winds up, and the lure itself does not knock out to the surface. The main object of catching was grayling, but also perch, standing on the current, often shows interest in the bait. For better realization of bites, I recommend to change the treble to one or two sizes larger, because the native hook is small, despite the fact that it has a good sharpening and fly.
Ponton21 BC Indi-Rah
I will finish my small top of spinning trollers for ultralight with another troll from Pontoon21. BC Indi-Rah #2 is the largest and most versatile troller in this top, so it attracts more “serious” and diverse predatory fish: pike, grayling, perch and white predator. The core is a set of steel balls, so like the Trait, the BC Indi-Rah is designed for fishing in shallow areas of rivers. The petal is wide enough, but oblong, so the troller shows good results both on the current and in calm water.
